Sleep & Mood
Restorative sleep.Calmer days.
Poor sleep and low mood feed each other. In midlife, shifting hormones, thyroid changes, and stress often sit underneath both. Instead of just reaching for another sleeping pill, we look for the reason you’re not resting.

Sound familiar?
Symptoms we hear every day
If several of these sound like you, it’s worth a closer look, especially if you’ve been told everything is “normal.”
Why it gets missed
You deserve better than “everything looks fine.”
Symptoms that cross specialties are easy to explain away one at a time. In Misdiagnosed, Dr. Adam Sewell shows how asking better questions changes the answer.

Questions
Sleep + Mood care, answered
Still wondering if this is right for you? Start with a few details and we’ll guide the next step.
Can hormones really affect my sleep?
Yes. Falling progesterone and fluctuating estrogen can cause night sweats, early waking, and lighter sleep. Treating the cause often improves sleep more than a sedative does.
Do you prescribe sleeping pills?
Your clinician considers every option, but our first goal is to find and treat what’s disrupting your sleep.
Do you treat depression and anxiety?
We evaluate mood as part of your whole picture and can treat many common concerns. When specialist care is the better fit, we help you find it.
What if I’m struggling right now?
If you’re in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please call or text 988 in the U.S. or call 911. Telehealth isn’t built for emergencies.
