Terms of Service

The rules for using presenthealth.care and our services, including our SMS Terms.

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of presenthealth.care and the services offered by PresentHealth.care (“PresentHealth,” “we,” “us”). By using the site or our services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Educational information, not medical advice

Articles, guides, worksheets, the book companion resources and self-assessment tools such as the Whole-Picture Check are for general education. They do not diagnose any condition and are not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician who knows your history. Using the website does not create a clinician-patient relationship.

Emergencies: Do not use this website, chat, email or text messages for emergencies. Call 911 for a medical emergency. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988.

Telehealth services

  • A clinician-patient relationship begins only after you complete our intake and a licensed clinician accepts you for care.
  • Services are available only to adults 18 and older located in a state where our clinicians are licensed at the time of each visit. The current list of states is shown during sign-up.
  • Treatment, including any prescription, is provided only when a licensed clinician determines it is appropriate. We do not guarantee any particular result or that any medication will be prescribed.
  • Telehealth has limits. Your clinician may recommend in-person care, tests or another provider when that is the right next step.
  • You agree to give accurate, complete information and to keep it up to date.

Fees and payments

Prices for paid services are shown before you buy. By purchasing, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your chosen payment method. Laboratory tests, pharmacy costs and insurance coverage may be separate and are explained before you incur them. Membership, renewal, cancellation and refund details are shown on the relevant offer page and at checkout.

SMS Terms (text messaging)

PresentHealth.care offers text messaging to people who request it, for example by providing their mobile number and agreeing to receive texts through our website chat or in conversation with our team.

  • Program: PresentHealth.care patient and customer care messages: replies to your inquiries, appointment reminders, care and account updates, and, if you separately agree, occasional educational or promotional messages.
  • Consent: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving care.
  • Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
  • Opt out: Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again.
  • Help: Reply HELP for help, or contact us at [email protected] or (469) 940-6742.
  • Carriers: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy: See our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Please do not text detailed medical information or anything urgent. Texts are not monitored for emergencies.

Using the website

  • Use the site only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
  • Don’t attempt to interfere with the site, access it with automated tools, or submit false or harmful information.
  • Free worksheets and printables may be printed and shared for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. Other content, logos and design belong to PresentHealth or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

The site links to outside resources such as research abstracts and professional organizations. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits any duty of care a licensed clinician owes to a patient under applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, PresentHealth and its owners, clinicians and staff will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the website. Our total liability for any claim related to the website will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of the state where you receive care requires otherwise. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes.
